The OneCAD Team combines years of industry experience with a high level of technical skills and education. Many of our staff have multiple degrees or diplomas and over half of them have a masters of engineering degree.
Our staff are constantly learning what’s new in engineering technology & manufacturing techniques so as to apply it to our client’s projects. Our management keep abreast of the latest in business trends for our markets so that we can better serve our clients and so that OneCAD is ready to open our services to new opportunities.

The Management Team
Neil Thomas - President
Neil oversees the general operation, sales and growth of OneCAD including directly handling all of our major client relationships. Neil has successfully developed OneCAD from a 1 man operation in 2004 to an 20 person engineering company in 2012.
Neil has an innate love of technology and has been a 3D CAD Designer since 1996. He has built OneCAD with the sense of doing what’s right for the client and with the determination that our clients must succeed before we do! Neil leads by example with a hands-on approach.
Paul Sesto - Business Manager
Paul gets new clients to OneCAD’s front door. He is responsible for new business development, marketing & advertising and general administration. Paul has a B.Sc. and a B.A.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering). He ensures that everyone’s questions get an answer since customer service is his #1 priority
Peter Li - Engineering Manager
Peter has his Masters of Engineering from Ryerson University (Toronto) and his mechanical engineering degree from Jilin University (China). He also has a diploma in mechanical engineering design from Centennial College (Toronto). Peter received his Masters degree in the fall of 2012 after 2 years of part-time studies at Ryerson while working full time at OneCAD. Peter is an Engineer in Training (EIT) with the PEO.
Grace Qin - Accounting & HR
With an eye for detail and a keen business sense, Grace handles the accounting for OneCAD. The team can then concentrate delivering to our client’s technical needs. Grace has also taken on the responsibilities of human resources and is focused on building a strong OneCAD team.
The Sales Team
Peter Petro - Sales Engineer
Peter comes to OneCAD with a wealth of engineering and sales experience. He has spent over 20 years in sales promoting technical products. Peter has both his Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation (Mechanical, Aeronautical & Industrial) and his C.E.T. (Certified Engineering Technologist – Mechanical).
The Technical Team
Zi Wang - Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.)
Zi Wang has extensive automotive design experience and holds a masters in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal. She brings a wealth of Solidworks experience to the OneCAD team. Zi is also proficient in ProE, AutoCAD and Inventor.
Zhongzhe Chi - Mechanical Designer
Zhongzhe has extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering analysis. His undergraduate engineering degree is in metal forming and he has acquired his Masters of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and will very soon also acquire his PhD from UOIT. Zhongzhe is currently working on FEA analysis and design for some of OneCAD’s top clients.
Lydia Wang - Mechanical Designer
Lydia has her masters degree in mechanical engineering from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She had 10 years of experience as a college teacher of AutoCAD & Solid Edge and engineering thermodynamics. She has over 6 years of working experience with 3D design and also knows NX.
Mei Li - Mechanical CAD Technician
Mei has her Masters of Mechanical Engineering from the China Precision Engineering Institute for Aircraft Industry and over 10 years of experience in designing mechanical products, precision machine tools & components, sheet metal products and the application of CNC machine tools. She has experience with SolidWorks & AutoCAD a thorough knowledge of GD&T and CAD/CAM principles
Mihajlo Burzevski - Mechanical Designer
Mihajlo has his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Automatics & Hydraulics) from St. Cyril & Methodius University, Macedonia. He has over 5 years of experience in design & drafting in a number of industries and has experience with SolidWorks, Solid Edge and AutoCAD. Mihajlo has completed the qualifications for the Certified SolidWorks Professional – Core.
Emma Liu - Mechanical CAD Technician
Emma has her Masters of Engineering (Mechanical & Electronic) form Shenyang Ligong University, China. She has over 10 years of experience in the mechanical manufacturing industry including mechanical fabrication methods of plastic moulding, sheet metal, machining & casting. She has CAD experience with SolidWorks, Solid Edge & AutoCAD.
Roy Kuang - Mechanical CAD Technician
Roy has his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (Design, Manufacture & Automation) from the Wuhan Science & Technology University, China. He has 10 years of experience in mechanical design including machine design experience with hydraulics & pneumatics. His CAD experience includes using SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
Raymond Li - Electrical CAD Designer
Raymond has over 11 years of work experience in industrial automation system projects being responsible for design, development, installation, configuration, commissioning, and integration of solutions for control systems. He has his Masters of Engineering in Electronic & Communication from Dailian University of Technology, China and his Bachelors of Engineering in Industrial Electrical Automation from Dalian Jiaotong University, China.
Praveen Sivaraman - CAD Technician
Praveen has a Masters of Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, India. He has experience with SolidWorks, CATIA, ProE and AutoCAD and has successfully demostrated those skills with the challenge of on-site placements.
Alex Liu - CAD Technician
Alex has his Masters of Engineering form the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Engineering from South China University of Technology. Alex has completed many of the CAD certifications including for SolidWorks: Certified SolidWorks Expert, Certified SolidWorks Professional, Advanced Sheet Metal, Simulation FEA, Advanced Weldment Specialist & Advanced Surfacing Specialist, Advanced Drawing Tools Specialist and the Inventor Certified Associate. He has also acquired the GDTP (Y14.5) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional Certification.
Fan Yang - Jr. Engineering Technologist
Fan’s post-secondary education combines both electrical engineering at the undergraduate level and a Masters of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor at the graduate level. He has already demonstrated his skills by performing 3D modeling and 2D drafing for internal projects as well as a challenging on-site placement.
Benny Yeung - Jr. Engineering Technologist
Benny has his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) from UOIT (University of Ontario Institute of Technology) and has completed 15 credits towards his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering also from UOIT. He also has an Advanced Diploma in Automotive & Manufacturing Technology from Georgian College. Benny has over 3 years manufacturing experience in various technical positions and has experience with SolidWorks, FEA, CFD and GD&T.
Boming Zhu - Jr. Engineering Technologist
Boming has both a Masters of Applied Science – Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal and a Bachelor of Science – Materials Science and Engineering from the Beijing University of Technology. He has a broad background with various CAD platforms including over 3 years with SolidWorks and AutoCAD as well as experience with FEA and CFD analysis software.
Michael Li - Mechanical Designer
Michael has a Masters of Engineering Design from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON as well as a Masters of Project Management, Renmin University, Beijing and a Bachelor of Engineering & Automation, Beihang University, Beijing. His work experience spans both machine and product design and he also has a number of patents to his credit.
